In the early days of photography, photographers would cover themselves with a dark cloth in order to block stray light and increase contrast. The outside cover has a fully aluminized surface and is made from a multi-layer, polyethylene material that is waterproof and puncture resistant. Both you and your telescope will appreciate the heat reflective ability of this very efficient solar scope cover. The front edge is made of Velcro, making it easy to wrap around your solar scope optical tube, while the inside cover is made from soft, opaque cloth materials that are comfortable to the touch.
